What are adaptogens & why add them to lattes?
Adaptogens are plants and herbs that have been found to help the body manage stress and maintain balance. Adaptogens can actually work with caffeine synergistically to help provide more stable energy levels and reduce the crash that usually comes with caffeine.
- Caffeine gives an immediate boost, and adaptogens can help stabilize that boost to prevent a crash, as well as help to build long term, sustainable energy without the need for as much caffeine.
- Caffeine can cause anxiety and jitters; adaptogens like ashwagandha have anti-anxiety effects.
- Caffeine creates a cortisol release and taxes our adrenal system over time, whereas adaptogens nourish our adrenals to bring you back into balance.
- Adaptogens soothe and support the nervous system, helping to restore balance and reduce stress
- Adaptogens have other benefits like boosting mood, promoting cognitive function and boosting immunity - so who wouldn’t want them in their latte?!
Are the blends vegan and gluten-free?
Absolutely—all our products are 100% plant-based and gluten-free. None of our ingredients contain naturally occurring gluten, and we have fully transitioned our oat milk powder to one that is Certified Gluten Free (yay!) However, even though the ingredients we use contain no gluten, our SuperLattes as a whole are not yet certified gluten-free. This certification process takes time, but it is one that we are currently working on, so hang tight!
How do I make a Superlatte?
It's so easy!
- Just add 3tbs of mix to 6-8oz hot water
- Froth shake (vigorously!) or blend
- Enjoy hot or pour over ice
No milk, sweetener or hassle needed.
Does it have caffeine?
Some of our blends have caffeine and some are caffeine-free - please see the product details for specifics. Our caffeinated blends range from 8 mg-40 mg of caffeine. For reference, a standard cup of coffee contains around 95 mg caffeine.

I usually add a plant based milk, but with this I don't always need to. Sometimes just a bit. I do add a little cacao. I also use the sprinkle dust as a tiny sweetener.
I do mix this sometimes with my RASA because I don’t want 50mg of caffeine. Too much caffeine makes my palms itch and break out a bit. 😑

I love this stuff- super versatile
I love this stuff. I use it by itself for a brilliant latte (3 scoops) or sometimes I use it as a sort of superfood creamer and sweetener for an espresso or in my regular coffee (1 scoop). Either way it's good stuff!
